  1. What is this new feature available?
    Effective 15th June 2016, Royal Skies is introducing instant online flight redemption. Members will be able to redeem for a flight using their miles at the comforts of their home and at their own convenience. This service will now replace the previous online redemption available through our Royal Skies website.

  2. Do I have to login to redeem a ticket online?
    Yes, you will need to log into your Royal Skies account at http://www.flyroyalbrunei.com/royalskies to redeem a ticket online.

  3. Why can’t I redeem a ticket for my child?
    If your child is aged 12 years and under, please download the Flight Award Redemption Form online and forward to Royal Skies at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or at RB Plaza for our further action.  For security reasons, a child aged 12 years and under must be accompanied by an adult traveler. As such, redemption for child travelers is restricted online.

  4. How do I know if I have sufficient miles for redemption?
    Please refer to our Online Mileage Calculator at Royal Skies website to determine the miles required for a specific destination.

  5. I cannot find my desired Award Redemption Seat.
    If you cannot find your preferred redemption seat, please amend your travel dates and search using the Calendar Availability.

  6. Will I be able to redeem for my nominee online?
    Yes, you will be able to redeem for your nominee online.

  7. Why can’t I continue past the availability calendar?
    This could be due to no seat availability or insufficient miles balance to continue. If this is not the case, please contact Royal Skies Service Centre for further assistance.

  8. I am only short of 2,000 miles. Am I able to redeem a ticket online?

  9. Would I be able to change my travel date for my redemption ticket online?

  10. Why can’t I redeem a Flight Upgrade online?
    At this time, Royal Skies regret to advise that flight upgrade redemptions are not available online. To redeem for Flight Upgrades, you may submit through the Flight Upgrade Redemption link at Royal Skies website for our Royal Skies Member Services team to process the upgrade request.  Otherwise please email Royal Skies Service Centre at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.   11. Will I be able to select a stopover online?
    If you wish to travel and have a stopover in between, please kindly submit your Flight Award Redemption to Royal Skies. This service is currently not available online.

  12. Will I be able to use my miles towards reducing a cost of a fare?
    The new online redemption tool is only available for Flight Award Redemptions at this time. Miles cannot be used towards reducing a fare.

  13. Can I change my travel date after my ticket has been issued?
    Yes, you may change your travel date after your ticket has been issued. Please contact Royal Skies or your nearest Royal Brunei Customer Service Centre to make the change. Changes cannot be made online at this time. Service fees may apply for the change.

  14. Can I select my meal while redeeming a flight online?
    After you have redeemed your ticket, you may “Manage Your Booking” at http://www.flyroyalbrunei.com. Your special meal requests must be made at least 24 hours prior to departure.

  15. Can I purchase travel insurance?
    If you wish to purchase travel insurance for your redemption ticket, please contact your nearest Royal Brunei Customer Service Centre.

  16. Can I select my seat online?
    Yes, you may through Manage Your Booking at http://www.flyroyalbrunei.com.

    Cancellations

  17. Can I cancel my flight redemption online?
    Cancellations may not be done online. Please contact Royal Skies or your nearest Royal Brunei Customer Service Centre to cancel your redemption ticket. Kindly note that terms and conditions applies for cancellations.
